| Club Rules ● Use of club facilities shall be restricted to members in good standing. ● Members must sign in at check-in counter for each family member and guest entering the pool. ● All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult or responsible babysitter (14 years or older) at all times on Club property. ● Running, pushing, wrestling, abusive language, or causing undue disturbances or health/safety hazards is prohibited. ● Pheasant Run Swim Club is a smoke-free and vape-free facility. ● Sand, grass, and gravel must be washed from feet prior to entering the pool. ● Members are responsible for the safety and conduct of their children, guests, and babysitters. ● No glass containers of any kind are permitted anywhere on Club property. ● No intoxicants may be brought onto the Club property. ● No food or drink allowed on the pool deck area. ● Baby strollers are not permitted on the pool deck area. ● Any person showing evidence of skin disease, sore or inflamed eyes, a cold, nasal or ear discharge or any communicable disease shall be refused admission into the pool. ● Pets are not allowed on Club property at any time. ● Members are not permitted in the office area unless called by pool staff. ● All Club, Team Members, and Employees are expected to abide by Pheasant Run's Anti Harassment Policy ● The Club is not responsible for loss of, or damage to, personal property. ● The Club may be closed for maintenance operations, health conditions, inclement weather or other reasons deemed sufficient by the Management. ● Pheasant Run Swim Club is a smoke/vape-free facility. GUESTS ● A guest privilege consists of the admission of one individual to the Club for one day. ● Members and their guests must be at least 12 years old to enter the Club without an adult. ● Conduct of guests, both adults and children, is the direct responsibility of the sponsoring member. ● Guest fees are collected in cash or check upon entry to the club and are non-refundable. No rain checks are issued. ● Current guest fees: $10 per person, free for children ages 3 and younger. MAIN POOL ● No toys are allowed in the main pool. No objects of any kind are to be thrown into the pool. ● No diving allowed in the main pool. ● Swimmers may not use any flotation devices in the main pool including swim vests and arm bands. ● Excessive splashing, assessed at the discretion of the Lifeguards, is prohibited. ● Appropriate swimwear is required. ● Members are prohibited from conducting unnecessary conversation with the Lifeguard(s) on Duty. ● Children must be completely toilet trained before being allowed in the main pool. No diapers, swim diapers, pull-ups, or swim pants are allowed in the main pool. Violations resulting in closing of the pool are grounds for a fine of $50, which must be remitted before family re-entry to the club. DIVING BOARD, SLIDE & DIVING BLOCKS ● Each swimmer must wait until the previous diver/slider has cleared the well. ● Diving from the pool sides into the diving well is prohibited, unless permitted by a Lifeguard. ● Diving off the starting blocks without coach approval and supervision is prohibited. ● Only 1 person is permitted on the diving board and/or the slide stairs at a time BABY POOL AREA ● The use of the wading (baby) pool is limited to infants and non-swimmers. ● Only soft, non-rigid toys are allowed in the wading pool. ● Children in the wading pool MUST be accompanied by an adult or babysitter of at least 14 years of age. ● Parents are required to keep non-toilet trained children dressed in suitable, highly protective diaper coverings. SAFETY BANDS ● All children and guests 11 years old and younger shall be swim tested each season before being allowed to use the pool without an adult (18+). ● Swim tests will be conducted by a lifeguard or manager on duty at the top of every hour. (Additional times for band testing are at the manager’s discretion). ● If child fails the swim test, they may retake it again the following day. ● The initial band for each child is included in membership. Replacement bands cost $1.00 ● Disposable bands are included in the guest fee. Guests do not have to test again if original test is documented. They will be given a new disposable band the next time they enter. ● Different color bands are issued depending on skill:
- Beginner (3-4 foot section): Must be able to swim width of the 4’ section of pool.
- Intermediate (5-foot section): Swim 1 length of the pool freestyle, tread water for 15 seconds, and float on front or back.
- Advanced (Diving Well): In addition to passing the 5-foot section requirements, swimmers must be able to swim across the diving well, jump off the diving board, go down the sliding board, and swim to ladder.
